The Courage to Obey | Joshua 1:7–9

Sep 20 · Joshua: Courage Over Fear
In Joshua 1:7–9, God commands Joshua to be strong and courageous—but He also shows him where that strength comes from. Joshua is called to know God’s Word, meditate on it, and faithfully obey it. In this message, Pastor Phillip challenges us to redefine success according to God’s standard: walking closely with Jesus, faithfully leading those God has entrusted to us, and making disciples who make disciples. As we allow God’s Word to shape our thoughts and actions, He gives us the courage to do what He has called us to do. Whatever God is asking of you today, be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or discouraged—the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
